SAMFYR comunica a las Obras sociales y Sistemas de Cobertura de Salud provinciales y de Nación, el reconocimiento de la implementación de la telerehabilitación como herramienta válida científicamente

SAMFYR comunica a las Obras sociales y Sistemas de Cobertura de Salud provinciales y de Nación, el reconocimiento de la implementación de la telerehabilitación como herramienta válida científicamente (1) en el marco de la emergencia sanitaria decretada por la pandemia por COVID-19, para poder
dar continuidad de tratamiento terapéutico de los pacientes en distintas modalidades de rehabilitación, con el uso de plataformas de tele-asistencia y/o tele-consultas en función de garantizar las prestaciones enunciadas en la Ley Nro 24.901.

Se aclara además, que los Médicos Especialistas en Medicina Física y
Rehabilitación, así como los equipos terapéuticos de los distintas Instituciones prestadoras de servicios de rehabilitación ambulatorios, han implementado dichas herramientas a fin de garantizar las prestaciones, dar continuidad trabajando en los objetivos terapéuticos, acompañar y asesorar a los padres, familiares, etc. desde el 20 de marzo (fecha de implementación del Decreto Nro 260/20 que estableció la medida de aislamiento social, preventivo y obligatorio). Las prestaciones se encuentran debidamente documentadas en la historia clínica, llevando registro de las actividades terapéuticas efectuadas.
